Weekly Roundup #7 (16th July 2016)

Slow news week this week but here’s what we found interesting. (Star Wars celebration article to follow soon)

It’s Star Wars Celebration! Here’s the Rogue One poster!

There was also a trailer, but we can’t see that yet.

But they did give us a little sneak peak behind the scenes.

More visual treats and some concept art from Guardians of Galaxy Vol.2 has been floated on the internet showing off new character Mantis. Mantis, was apparently ranked 99th in Comics Buyer’s Guide’s “100 Sexiest Women in Comics” list… so that’s…good?

I dunno.

Groot is still tiny.

Yet more visuals for you (told you, slow week) and we’ve got some pics of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman and she looks pretty great in the role. Pictures from Entertainment Weekly.

As we approach the release of Star Trek beyond, JJ Abrams has been chatting about Star Trek 4 and he had the following to say.

“Yes, and there’s something that hopefully we’re figurative minutes away from talking about. But the answer is 100 percent yes, and it’s incredibly exciting”

Some people and TV shows have been nominated for awards for doing things well. Game of Thrones and Netflix led the nominations. You can see the full list here. I’m not typing that all out for you.

Pokemon Go, the latest phenomenon to take the world by storm is going to have a film made from it. Isn’t that just a Pokemon film? or is it a film of people playing Pokemon Go? Who gives a shit. Not me.

Aaaand finally, ANOTHER picture, this time from the set of Sherlock. That’s nice.

That’s literally (not literally) all the news – did you like the pictures?
